Boeing 757-200 (RR RB-211-535E4 engines)

American Airlines 757 Jet Flagship (NOT RETROJET!!!), Ft. Worth Alliance Airport, February 1999 (Andrew Abshier)

The majority of Rolls-Royce equipped 757s have been delivered with the more powerful and economical RB-211-535E4 engine.  It can be distinguished from the RB-211-535C by its much longer cold stream cowling and no visible hot stream cowling; the latter section rests entirely within the cold stream cowling, as the detail photos will illustrate.
